The Careers Group story

    


The Careers Group was founded in 1909 as the University of London Appointments Board. Three years later, more than 300 students were registered and the Board had sent out 1,340 vacancies.

More than a century later, The Careers Group has developed a wide range of employment services for students, graduates, institutions and businesses alike.

Each year, we help tens of thousands of students and graduates - from finding the perfect internship or permanent position to early career development advice. Students, graduates and employers access our services on our website and in careers centres across 17 institutions.

We provide companies with bespoke career development and skills training for their staff - from senior management to junior trainees.

Our services also include products for higher and further education institutions - from comprehensive DLHE collection and specialised event management to setting up a careers service and establishing the leading careers service management system.
